What's the F***ing Point?

Jonathan Berry on Creating Systems that Work

Episode Summary

This episode is fun, nerdy, and a little different. My guest Jonathan Berry and I get nerdy about systems — what works and doesn't work for us, and what helps keep us consistent with USING systems that help life and business run more smoothly.

Episode Notes

Jonathan Berry is the archetypal "work hard, play hard" dude.

As I’ve gotten to know him over the past 5+ years, I’ve admired his balance of a joyful, lighthearted approach to life, and serious commitment to his family, friends, and work. When Jonathan started his real estate business and I saw the entrepreneurial side of him, I realized we had more in common than I’d known.

As you’ll hear in the interview, I envy the consistency to which he really sticks with the systems he’s created to maximize the efficiency and quality of his work, which is why I wanted to bring him on the podcast during this month’s focus on consistency!

This episode is pretty different from a lot of my more meandering, esoteric conversations, and I think it’s a nice change of pace — I think you’ll dig it, too.

Oh and guess what? Taking 30 seconds to leave a review (super easy right from your phone) gives you major karma points! 😀

Jonathan Berry is a Nashville native who loves to spend his time camping, rock climbing, and kayaking, and is always looking for his next adventure. His biggest adventure to date is being a new dad to baby Iris, alongside his ride-or-die, Susannah. Jonathan is a real estate broker in Nashville, Tennessee and the surrounding region, and is a self-proclaimed systems nerd who’s useless without his old-school to-do list and white board.
